Ryan had his first birthday party with friends since we moved here. The theme he wanted was TMNT.
We had a blast preparing for it. He and his friends had a really great time. Actually, the simpler I made the party the funner it got for the boys.
The sewer or "turtle lair". Password to get in was "Cowabunga Dude!"
Chase helped me out a ton and played as "Splinter" training the boys with Karate moves, learning the bow staff, and training on throwing paper ninja stars. He helped them with the obstacle training course and spent many hours making paper ninja stars for each one.
The boys that came were Nash, Owen, Caleb, Foster, Michael, Lincoln, and Bryce
The boys then came up out of the sewer, made mini pizzas, colored their Ninja stars and then Ryan opened his gifts.
Here's the goodie bags we handed out at the end. Lots of turtlely stuff in these!
A couple hours after we had Grandpa and Grandma, cousins, and aunts and uncles come help us celebrate too! It was just such a big fun day all rolled into one! Ryan even ended the night getting ready for bed with a big birthday cry! He was tired but he is still, one week later, basking in the fun he had!
