April 6th is the anniversary of when the church was first organized. I just noticed that last year Friday April 6, 2012 we were also on Temple Square visiting just before conference weekend.
Now this year Saturday April 6th also we were able to attend General Conference for the first time! It was a beautiful day and Springtime is our favorite time to visit because of the gorgeous flowers and their scents!
Ryan and Bryce weren't able to come with us this time, but we had a good time with Sam and Chase and really enjoyed the Saturday afternoon session. Sam said that that was the most she has ever listened to in one session!
We got to hear Elders Bednar, Cook, Nelson, and Scott and others.
Didn't get a pic, but we were able to sit in back of Kelly's good childhood friend Sam Cocea and his family. It was fun to reunite with them again after all these years of being in Texas!
