A look at our busy Winter 2014 happenings.....

Ice skating at the Gallivan Center
--one of our favorite winter past times!

After Sam hurt her toe on her birthday in January followed with a 3 week hiatus from her favorite activities, she got back into the swing of things in February with ice skating, basketball, skiing, and roller skating.

Sam's injury kinda halted her horseback riding also.
But it won't be long until she gets back in the saddle again....

Off Track field trip to Tracy Aviary with the Jensens!
Only ones there to enjoy all the birds!  Awesome!

Same with Thanksgiving Point Museum of Ancient Life
--hardly anyone there!

Sam only got to play basketball 4 times because of her toe injury!

Chase also had a pretty good basketball year playing with and against a lot of his friends in Junior Jazz
and playing in 2 band concerts this winter in the Percussion side of things!

I love being able to see him although in the back!
(An advantage to a drum kids Mom!)

Cousin fun on Martin Luther King Day at Hollywood Connection with the Jorgensen cousins....

AND.....We had cousin John stay at our house for about a week.  We had some fun times with him.  Bryce hardly knows what to do after his "twin" left. It went by so fast!

At Cabelas preschool fieldtrip with John and Bryce.....

Cousin Isabelle came for one day to play too at Chic-Fil-A

Cousin buddies!

SKIING was our favorite pastime this winter.  As a family we have averaged going 6 or 7 times. I think watching the Olympics in Sochi Russia got us excited about it more than usual. :)  Luckily, Sam with her 5th grade pass got to go at least 3 times before and after her toe injury.

AND last but not least.....
These past couple months Chase and Kelly have made their own SNOWSHOES with the teachers quorum.  They went snowshoeing with them up to DONUT FALLS up in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
