Well, Kelly and I are feeling especially old today with having a teenager as a child now. :-) He is just days away from starting 7th grade at Fort Herriman Middle School! Chase has grown and changed so much in this last year. We all can see that changes will be coming very fast and frequent from now on.
Chase is a JOY to watch grow. He is getting so fun to be around! He always had such a sense of humor since he was a baby and now that he is 13 it is very fun to laugh and joke with him.
He finds the HUMOR in everyday things which can take the stress out...sometimes. ;)
We had a great time all day with Chase (braces, glasses and all). Chase just started Phase 2 of braces this month and he has a great attitude towards it. This time around he is much more careful with them and takes care of them well....(so far) ;0
So, while Sam and Ry were at their 3rd day of school Kelly and I took off to Trafalga of Lehi with Chase, Bryce, and a good friend of Chase's named Josh Sorensen. We had a blast and ended up with "The Seven Peaks Pass of All Passes"
After a dinner at Chase's favorite restaurant Cafe Rio we all came home to a yummy birthday cake covered in Whoppers and candles! I had to go out and grab some more candles! Whew! Chase has always wanted a Whopper cake and he got his wish.
Don't know what he wished for here...but apparently he did get it! All those 13 candles were blown our instantly!
Chase still doesn't care about new clothes as a gift. We're wondering if that will ever come.
Grandma showing Chase how she plays the drum pad. This is one gift that Chase actually was excited for this night....other than, the itunes gift cards! He is excited to start band this year with Percussion. :D
So far being a teenager with new gifts handed to you left and right is proving difficult.
Ha Ha! We adore you Chase! Happy 13th!
